Arjen Robben was known as the flying Dutchman at his peak and he was considered as the best right-footed winger during that time. Swedish national team star Kulusevski has drawn comparison with Arjen Robben due to his playing style.

Italian publication Calciomercato revealed that Arsenal are considering the idea of a swap deal for Kulusevski ahead of the January transfer window. It was revealed that out-of-favour Arsenal winger Nicholas Pepe could be included in a deal for Swedish international Kulusevski who has not be able to see regular football at Juventus this season. Kulusevski has been frustrated with his lack of playing time since manager Maximiliano Allegri returned to the Italian Serie A outfit this season.

Ivorian international Pepe has suffered the same fate of not playing much like Kulusevski at Arsenal. He’s the record buy at Arsenal following his move from French champions Lille two years ago. Pepe is in his third season at Arsenal and he has so far failed to justify the big money spent on him amongst the fans.

Arsenal splashed the cash on Pepe to the tune of £72m having beaten Italian Serie A side Napoli and other big European teams to his signature. However, he has not lived up to the price tag since moving to North London.

A lot of the Arsenal fans questioned why Pepe was left on the bench when Gabriel Martinelli went off injured against Everton when the two teams met in the Premier League on Monday night. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta brought on striker Eddie Nketiah on the left side of attack instead of Pepe who was an unused substitute. The Arsenal fans criticised their manager for his decisions during the Everton game which ended in a 2-1 comeback defeat.
