pretty much every year at madrid had an injury, i guess they thought they were better off selling him but man, if Ronaldo on one wing and Robben on the other could have worked…crazy possibilities

Stats separate the pros from wannabes. Xavi Alonso is one of the worlds most underrated player of all time.

He should have stayed at Real with Ronaldo. Ronaldo left wing and Robben on the right wing.

You can’t look at the number of goals and automatically state that “player x” is better than “player y”. In many people’s mind, Xavi is a better player than both Messi and Ronaldo. Robben is a different player than Ronaldo, every team he has been on has run a different scheme than RM (including when he was on RM), and football in general has changed since then.

dont go to hard on him, he’s maybe a diver but he has a good heart. He broke a fans nose and gave him his shirt after, he gave some of his blood away for children in Africa 3 weeks ago ;p

all right, from today´s perspective Ronaldo was a useful transfer, although he was so expensive. But additionally he appears so fucking unsympathetic to me that i always hope that something bad happens to him :).

i agree with you that Real made a big mistake by selling him, but Cristiano Ronaldo is way more better then Arjen Robben. Scored 53 goals in the season 10/11 and doing way more better in 11/12

not really. since 1. ronaldo generates alot more money. 2 Ronaldo are by far a better player, by far. 3. Robben is injured atleast, and im talking about atleast, 50% of each season, often more. Ronaldo nearly never.
Ronaldos pricetag were the best invest real madrid did since bekcham.

How good would Madrid have been with Robben on the left and Ronaldo on the right. Unbeatable. Fools to let him go

Because the coach was pushed to let Ronaldo play every match cause of the high buying price and the arrogance/annoyance the coach would get if he didnt give the same C. Ronaldo a spot in the first eleven. How brilliant Ronaldo can be as a player, he’ll always be an arrogant child as well.
